Description
Dr. Schroer is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty expertise in total knee replacement, one of the co-medical directors of the Joint Replacement Center at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, and the SSM Health Network Medical Director of Orthopedics. He completed his general surgery internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Schroer is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. One of the initial proponents of minimally invasive knee replacements, Dr. Schroer has performed more than 6000 knees with this technique.
